Overview
This page is where you create new agents or edit existing ones. It provides a comprehensive form to configure your AI agent's identity, behavior, capabilities, and settings. Accessing the Page
Creating a new agent:
- Click the "Create New Agent" card on the Agents dashboard
- Modal opens with empty form
Editing an existing agent:
- Click any agent card on the dashboard
- Modal opens with agent's current settings pre-filled
Page structure
Form Sections:
1. Basic Information - Name, command, and instructions
2. Avatar - Visual identity selection
3. Model Configuration - AI model and settings (expandable)
4. Tools - Capabilities and integrations
5. Advanced Settings - Additional configuration options
Form Validation
Real-time feedback:
- Required fields highlighted if empty
- Error messages for invalid inputs
- Duplicate name/command warnings
- Validation occurs before saving
Common validations:
- Name must be unique
- Command must be unique and valid format
- Required fields must be filled
Tips
Before creating:
- Have agent name and purpose in mind
- Know which model you want to use
- Consider which tools are needed
While editing:
- Changes aren't saved until you click Save
- Can cancel to discard changes
- Preview avatar before saving
